A Celebration of Outstanding English and Maths Delivery
The Skills Awards aims to reward the quality and diversity of educational delivery and achievement in the best educational establishments, along with the most dedicated members of the teaching profession.
Whether you are a provider, a teacher, or anyone involved in education, now is your chance to highlight outstanding, pioneering and innovative work in the development of English and maths skills. You may nominate yourself, or a colleague who you feel is deserving of some recognition.

Criteria for winners
English and maths skills are vital to the prospects of all individuals for their education, career prospects and day-to-day living. They are high on the government agenda and have been identified by industry as a key area of importance for those entering work.
The Skills Awards, presented as part of The Skills Conference 2020, will celebrate outstanding, pioneering and innovative work in the development of English and maths skills.
There are 3 categories that you can enter:

Maths Teacher of the Year
This award will be presented to an education provider (or employer with an education programme) that can demonstrate pioneering innovation, excellence and effectiveness in their English and maths teaching and outcomes.
This award will be presented to a teacher or trainer who has used innovative, creative and effective teaching strategies to support and motivate groups or individual learners towards English skills achievement.
This award will be presented to a teacher or trainer who has used innovative, creative and effective teaching strategies to support and motivate groups or individual learners towards maths skills achievement.
