The Skills Conference 2019: Exhibitors

Supporting over 600,000 users worldwide, OneFile is the UK’s leading eportfolio for learning and development – and winner of the 2017 Queen’s Award for Innovation. But we do more than sell software. We believe people deserve to reach their full potential – that’s why we’ve made it our mission to shape the futures of 1 million people by 2020.

To achieve this mission, we’ve developed OneFile into an all-in-one learning software ideal for all types of vocational training. It’s a training eportfolio, assessment software, learning environment and CPD tracker – giving people the tools to shape their own future.

Forward with Phonics specialises in creating structured, age appropriate, phonic resources for older learners. Current research confirms our belief that systematic teaching of the phonic code is essential for beginner or struggling readers, regardless of age.

The new Functional Skills curriculum, to be introduced in September 2019, includes phonics teaching for Entry Level learners. Our books would be ideal resources to support that teaching.

The books are suitable for the 14-19 sector, Functional Skills and ESOL learners, who are working at a Pre Entry – Entry 2 Level.

Resources include two books of photocopiable stories and activities and a set of 54 reading books, called The Drop-In Series, with accompanying support materials. The stories in The Drop-In Series are based around a community café and offer reading support from CVC words to words with a more complex structure and more than one syllable.

All can be purchased as printed books or downloads.
