Ms. Hardy has promised that she will use her new position to push for increased funding for FE and HE as well as improving quality for apprenticeships and vocational training. She will also be focusing on improving access and support for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
Ms. Hardy is replacing Mr. Marsden in the shadow ministerial position after the former MP lost his Blackpool South Seat in the last general election.
