In 1994, bksb pioneered an innovative new approach to improving the English and maths skills of learners. This process of initial assessment to ascertain an accurate level, diagnostic assessment to identify precise skill gaps, and learning resources to develop knowledge, has since become the industry standard for teaching basic skills, key skills and latterly functional skills.
bksb has now developed from a small group of pioneers working at West Nottinghamshire College, to an international, award-winning company with a presence in five different continents. Our ethos, however, has never changed – we are passionate and proud to create products that have helped millions of learners improve their education and career prospects.
As we have developed, so too has our brand and logo. Our new logo, launched for 2017, reflects both the evolution of the company as well as its vision for the future. We have a determination to never stop leading the way in innovation, personality and thought.
The new logo evokes the clarity and values of the traditional bksb building blocks, representing the combination of skills required to succeed. The clean, simple lines lend themselves to the digital eLearning products which have become our core business.
Our new strapline, Inspired eLearning, reflects our commitment to creating products which are both inspired in their creation, and look to inspire those who use them.
Supporting the rebrand will be updated product interfaces, a new website and social media pages.
