We will be releasing GCSE courses to cover the new specifications for examinations from 2017 this month, but our existing GCSE Maths and English Language courses will still be available next year for legacy resits.
New GCSE Maths is split into 5 modular courses: Algebra; Geometry and Measures; Number; Probability; Ratio, Proportion and Rates of Change.
Covering both Foundation and Higher Tiers, each modular course comprises a Diagnostic Assessment, Interactive Resources, summative assessments and Exam Practice guidance. The results of the summative assessments will feed into the reporting system and tutors can review learner responses.
New GCSE English is split into 2 modular courses: Reading and Writing. These modular courses comprise Diagnostic Assessments, Interactive Resources and Exam Practice. The questions within the Exam Practice resources mimic the style and format of those that students can expect to encounter in their real exams. To help them maximise their potential marks, model solutions and detailed marking schemes are likewise provided to help students pinpoint the most lucrative linguistic techniques and identify any other topic areas that require additional revision. (Summative assessments will be added to each learning module within the two courses for the new academic year.)
