Dame Asha Khemka Wins GG2 Leadership Award

Dame Asha Khemka, Principal and Chief Executive of West Nottinghamshire College Group, has added a GG2 Leadership Award to her growing list of honours. Prime Minister David Cameron presented Dame Asha with the award for ‘Woman of the Year’ on Wednesday 5 November.

The GG2 Leadership Awards were founded fifteen years ago to celebrate contributions from members of the Asian community to their chosen fields. Dame Asha was chosen as a winner for her outstanding work and commitment to improving and providing a fair education for all, through her work with Vision West Notts, and her charity the Inspire and Achieve Foundation.

We are delighted that Dame Asha Khemka will be speaking at The Skills Conference 2015 on Tuesday 3 March. She’ll be imparting some of her substantial education knowledge to delegates, and commenting on the current issues affecting the Skills and Further Education sector. If you’d like to book a place on the conference for just £95+VAT please visit our event page.
