The Bett Awards are held annually as part of The Bett Show, the leading global showcase of education technology. Bett Awards recognise, reward and celebrate the best learning technology from the United Kingdom and further afield. Earning the right to be a finalist and/or winner is considered an outstanding achievement within the education sector, with just a select few products chosen in each award category.

The Bett Awards are judged by an esteemed adjudication panel. Once entries are submitted, the panel choose the finalists for each of the twenty categories. After a period of further investigation, winners are chosen and announced at the Bett Awards ceremony. The Bett Awards Judges are renowned for their experience and knowledge of ICT educational resources. They are drawn from a bank of experienced teachers with outstanding ICT knowledge and understanding, education consultants and advisers, and high profile ICT journalists.

The Education Resources Awards (ERAs) are national accolades that uphold outstanding suppliers in the British education sector. The awards are growing year on year and for 2015 there were ‘an overwhelming number of entries’ in several categories.

The ERAs are organised by Brilliant Marketing Solutions and the British Educational Suppliers Association (BESA), and it is the latter that form the judging panel for the awards. BESA are an industry trade association with over 300 members from Early Years education, right through to Further Education.
