Definitions

• Internal Verification/Standards Moderation
  The process of monitoring the organisation’s and/or awarding body’s assessment procedures and practices in order to confirm that they are fair, consistent, valid, reliable and to an appropriate standard.
• Internal Verifier/Standards Moderator
  A designated and qualified person who monitors the assessment methods and standards of a group of assessors.
